Return & Refund Policy
At Cashkr, our goal is to provide a seamless platform for you to sell, recycle, or donate your used consumer products. Because you are selling a device through our platform rather than purchasing one, our return and refund guidelines are structured around the evaluation, cancellation, and final sale of your device.
Return Policy (Device Returns)
Our return policy outlines the specific circumstances under which your device will be handed back to you. Returns must happen within 2-3 working days.
- Before Payment (Quote Rejection): Initial quotes are subject to an in-person evaluation of your device. If the inspection reveals that the device has missing parts, is a different model, or is in a different condition than initially described, we will present a revised final quote. If you choose not to accept this revised offer, the transaction will be canceled, and your device will be immediately returned to you (or remain with you during a home pickup).
- Prohibited or Ineligible Goods: If during inspection we determine the device is a prohibited item (such as goods distributed as gifts from NGOs or state-sponsored programs) or you are unable to provide the mandatory self-attested ID proof, the transaction will be voided and the device will be returned to you.
- Post-Payment (Final Sale): Once the physical evaluation is complete, the final quote is accepted, and payment is issued to you, the transaction is strictly final. As per our terms, you are legally bound to sell the device upon payment. Once payment is transferred, the device becomes the property of the third-party buyer and cannot be returned to you under any circumstances.
- Data Responsibility: Please note that all personal data must be erased before handing over the device. Devices cannot be returned post-sale for the purpose of data retrieval.
- Post-Sale Re-purchase: Once a device has been sold and payment is completed, the sale is final and the device will not be returned. Any subsequent re-purchase of that device directly from a vendor or any third party is a private transaction conducted entirely outside the Cashkr platform, at the sole risk of the parties involved. Cashkr is not a party to, and bears no responsibility, warranty, or liability for, any such transaction.
Refund Policy (Monetary Transactions)
Because Cashkr facilitates the sale of your goods to third parties, you are the recipient of funds, not the payer.
- No Purchases Made: Since you do not pay Cashkr or its third-party buyers for consumer goods, standard monetary refunds do not apply.
- Payment Disbursement: You will be paid the exact agreed-upon final quote amount immediately once the device passes inspection. In case of any issue, the amount will be credited to you within 24 hours. If the transaction is canceled by either party before the final agreement and physical handover, no funds will be transferred, and no monetary refund will be necessary.
- Platform Fees: Cashkr is a facilitating platform. We do not charge sellers direct fees that would be subject to a refund. All financial transactions are finalized at the moment the final quote is accepted and paid.
